Aleidis Devillé holds a Phd. in sociology and gives lecture at Thomas More University College. Her doctoral work was a qualitative research about illegal immigrants in Belgian society. At the faculty of Psychology and Pedagogical Sciences, and the faculty of Social Sciences of KU Leuven, she gave lecture as a guest professor for multiple years. She carried out qualitative and quantitative research on topics like social work, social policy, migration and social inclusion.
Jurgen Basstanie holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and a Master degree in Germanic Philology from the University of Antwerp. He has been departmental international co-ordinator of Social Work at Thomas More Kempen. He is responsible for student and teacher mobility programmes, intensive programmes and Erasmus multilateral projects. Jurgen Lectures language and culture in the field of social work. He is a representative of the Social Work department in EASSW, IASSW and Ensact. He is a consultant for field organisations special care for problematic youth and coaches members of staff in this sector on reporting skills.
